Please File Claims in a Timely Manner

Please, please file any incidents that you reasonably think might result in a claim with your insurer in a timely manner. Or, if you think it will not result in a claim, document your thoughts to the patient file, to protect your interests in the event it does develop to a claim at a later date. Insurance companies love to decline claims for late reporting and your documentation will prove your state of mind at the time of the incident. Very important!
